Bio
Aleza Sitarz [she, her, hers] has served as a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Specialist for Austin ISD for the past nine years. In this role she supports 15 elementary campuses in Northeast Austin with their SEL campus goals. She creates, facilitates, and organizes professional learning opportunities in person and online for thousands of educators. Aleza is a Project Manager for the SEL Leadership Pathway where she supports teachers across the district in their two-year SEL micro-credentialing process. Previously, Aleza has innovated as a curriculum consultant for Committee for Children where she helped envision and create the Second Step Principal Toolkit for school leaders.
